LEGACY 4K

RGrain 2.0 Legacy 4K is our original set of ultra-realistic film grain emulations remastered in DCI 4K (4096x2160) for maximum flexibility.

Legacy 4K adds rich and deep textures to your digital footage that normally can only be achieved through the photochemical process. Soften the crisp digital look and feel the film move through your footage as if it was shot on celluloid film.

Legacy 4k includes 16 film grain plates in 35mm, 16mm, 8mm and 35mm Lush 6K Overlay. The film grain overlays included in Legacy 4K are mostly dust/dirt free* and designed for a clean, authentic film look. They come in a wide range, from subtle 35mm to gritty 16mm and nostalgic 8mm film grain looks.

Also included is our 6K (6144x3160) Ultra High-Resolution 35mm Lush Overlay, based on Legacy’s most popular plate. (RG 35mm Lush).

*Some of the Super 8mm and 16mm plates do have moderate to heavy damage based on the style they are designed for (example: “16MM Damaged,” “8MM Dirt Master”).
